CD player isnt even an option, there's no physical player at all & no location for one in the cabin.

there's a 20Gb hard drive as an option which music can be loaded onto, otherwise it's Bluetooth or USB connection to phone, ipod or USB stick

I suspect he is referring to the DVD Changer option that sits in the secret compartment. But yeah USB or Bluetooth is where it's at IMO

Yes any device connected can be controlled on the main display. Not sure on the cost of the internal drive but i know some people have had issues with its usability - no playlist support, difficult to get music back off the drive. Be worth searching a few online sites before splashing out, see if its the solution you need or not. Im just using a 64gb usb stick in place of my ipod and spotify on my iphone via the mini connected app

I think the hard drive is the best option. I've moved all my music there. No battery drain streaming from your phone. Instant on. Sounds great, easy to search, etc. Just rip all your cds to mp4 and move them over via the USB port.

I agree with txfan, the hard drive is brilliant and works really well.

Surprisingly delighted to have moved to an f54((with a r59 in the fold for fun!)
