Coilover Fitting

i have just ordered some ST XA coilovers for my 2016 MCS.

i have fitted my previous R55 with collies so i know the general procedure.

Are they any tricks or things i need to look out for on the new F56?

Any help would be great.

Also if anyone has these, advice on the best set up would be useful, so what camber, damping etc to have for fast road use.

i can purchase rear control arms if necessary as thats what i did in the past.. just not sure how much good they will do.

thanks all !!

Check out the JCW Pro coilover unboxing thread. I'm getting JCW Pro coilovers installed and plan to set them to what he used. See also (nearly identical) thread on NAM.

Really easy to do. Pretty much the same as the r55 other than that the rears are a separate spring/damper

Good point.

I had my dealer do an alignment after they installed the JCW Pro coilvers. Looking at the report from the alignment, lots of values were out of spec and were fixed in the alignment.

Fitting is really simple a couple of hours max and that's if your useless with some spanners.
I've done a few and haven't bothered with professional alignment I just did it myself.
