Here we go again finding the right color

Just came back from Mini of Tempe we did some numbers on a new 2017 MCS and I love the deal they put together for me and once again they have been awesome to work with. I am just waiting on my tax return to give them some $$$ for the down payment. Since I get closer too bite the bullet once again it comes down to color I am down to 2 colors I really love

White Silver/black roof with black cosmo rims

love that combo as much as I love

Thunder Grey/white roof black cosmo rims

honestly I am torn between the 2 colors.

Here is the way I look at it on the thunder grey since the paint is so thin
and Arizona,s roads are full of junk and stones the thunder grey will look like a battleship after 6 month and I have stone chips all over the front again just like on my chille red one.

Silver looks much cleaner to me and it is much harder to see the chips and battle scars.

BTW the rest of the car will be pretty basic ( like my cars that way)

JCW Interior with pedals double stripe cloth seats and steering wheel red on the dash and door panels

6 speed
white turn signals
17 inch black cosmo rims
no stripes
black head/tail light rings

that is it. I keep it bare bone/stock so I will have extra $$$$ for the mods.

So any input what color I should order.

Ps the images are of the net so "Thank you"

It is not "Old School" if you can not put a Weber on it.

Davy the longer I look at the white silver/black I start to like it more and more. It got a bit of that " 50 and over Hooligan Driver Look" to it.

There is one near me that is White Silver with White roof/mirrors. It is absolutely stunning! Just enough contrast to be interesting, but very subtle and classy. Might be a bit cooler in AZ than the black top too.

My Buddy just bought a silver/white MCS it looks nice but for some reason I did not like it as much as the silver/black combo. As far as the heat goes here in AZ the Steering Wheel will melt anyway from April to November.

Whatever color you go with, Don't forget the LED lights!
My TG car used to have white top and mirrors.

I tend to agree.
Generally I feel more than two major colours plus chrome trim/lights on a car starts to look fussy.
So: White car with Black roof and wheels is good. Chrome/shiny wheels is OK too as they go with the trim. But when you get to grey car/black wheels/white roof/chrome ... meh! (I notice the sample pic above actually has shiny wheels, not black, which is probably OK.)

All that said your personal taste and what it looks like in the metal is most important - to you

silver white with black definitely. the touches of red on the interior will work beautifully with that. got to be black wheels/black roof - collar & cuffs have to match

Agreed with hat. White silver and black is just stunning and i have never been a silver fan so thats saying something. A few red highlights and yum yum!! Not too keen on the solid grey.

I'm going to buck the trend here, not a particular fan of WS, so TG for me, with white roof.

I'll just leave this here, I'm sure you all know the car as R99s
