Sport-cat or de-cat

Like the title says. What would you recommend? I like sport-cat from Supersprint. And my car is Cooper s with JCW tuning kit, Forge intercooler and KN typhoon intake.

Does a cat have to be on for a roadworthy test mot etc? If so , can you be bothered fitting it back for the test. If this doesn't apply to you then go the route of most power gains ,over to the modders on this forum as sorry i have no idea!

Surprisingly delighted to have moved to an f54((with a r59 in the fold for fun!)

Depends what your after! As said if you need to comply with emission testing then your going to have to keep swapping a decat before MOT.
If that doesn't apply then get a Decat, more power available and he'll of a lot cheaper than a catted downpipe!

in my opinion, a decat will give the best power gains, maybe 5-10bhp if thats what your after but again i feel it sounds too raspy and poppy.. like its trying too hard. A sports cat is therefore the best of both worlds.
thats just my opinion

I put a Milltek midpipe in my JCW setup. It removed one of the 2 cats. There is still one in the downpipe.

I explained a bit more about it on my site if you are interested. Pictures too
