Question

Mods please move if I've put this in the wrong section.

Does anyone know if the two types of touch pad in the F56 are the same size?

My wife's car has the sat nav type.
I'm asking as she wants some trim piece from AliExpress and it only shows it on the smaller pad type and the seller is clueless.
Have attached a pic of the 2 types and the part she wants to fit.

They are different. Only MediaXL has the touchpad, the Satnav with the bigger screen and the split screen capabilities.
The smaller joystick, with the orange dot is the 'normal' satnav version.

Easiest way to be sure is take a tape measure to the local dealer (or phone them and see if someone can look at 2 cars they have in the showroom). From a production point of view it makes sense that they are the same dimensions.
