  1. Ambient Air Sensor Location and Proper Installation

    MINI JCW F56 Forum
Anyone? I'm thinking now that when the dealer installed my rally lights they forgot to reattach the sensor. Anyone with a pic of where it goes or advice would be appreciated.
  2. Ambient Air Sensor Location and Proper Installation

    MINI JCW F56 Forum
Greetings, I haven't been on the forum for a few months, and wow things have changed! I was cleaning my still very low mileage 2015 JCW today and I noticed for the first time in the driver side (RHD) lower grill opening that my temperature sensor is just laying loose on the bottom of the...
  3. Tyre Size For 18x7j 205 or 215 and 40 or 45?

    Tires, Wheels, and Suspension
I know of some JCW owners who have gone with 215/40/18 non runflat tires and the transformation has been noticeably positive with regard to ride quality and better performance/grip. That’s what I will likely do eventually when the P7’s are retired!
  4. The 2019 Mini Cooper John Cooper Works Hardtop Places Style Above Performance

    MINI JCW F56 Forum
I will always say the MINI looks better than the Ford or Honda! Presentation means a lot to me. The F56 is larger but has so much more to offer than previous generations! The build quality is simply better! The engine is better! The only things I would like to have seen designers build into...
  5. SPIED: New spy photos catch the MINI JCW GP up close

    MINI JCW F56 Forum
Now we're talkin! That's awesome! Dan's smiling again!
  6. GP3 Spotted On Test

    MINI F56 General Discussion
I hope the finished design will look better than the spy pics, but one thing is certain - the wider fenders will allow for beefier wheels & tires over stock. One of my only complaints about the F56 JCW is the limited wheel & tire widths that will fit! The MINI has a wide stance by design but...
  7. JCW Spoiler

    MINI F56 General Discussion
Well, I will say that everything you've done to your MINI has been done with "quality"! Your MINI looks killer!
  8. New LCI headlights & LED Rear UJ lights fit on older F56?

    MINI F56 General Discussion
In the old days it was so much easier making your car personalized without all the electronics we suffer with today! When will we wake up that the benefits of technology also removes our freedom to mod our cars? Shameful it is, but on the bright side there are still some fine sport cars being...
  9. My 2019 JCW!

    MINI JCW F56 Forum
My Midnight Black Metallic 2015 JCW still is under 1200 miles and it’s beginning to make more pops, so I think it may be tied to the mileage...or I’m getting used to it. Your 2019 looks wonderful, but that bonnet is screaming for a wide stripe right up the center lol! Nicely done tho...enjoy!
  10. Posting etiquette

    MINI F56 General Discussion
In a perfect world we’d all be able to get together and get to know each other better. I’ve met some “friends” here who share this common MINI affliction, and I for one am feeling very good about that!
  11. All we know about the 2023 4th generation mini

    The Car Lounge
A lot of guessing in that article! I’m still not sold on electric vehicles....I can see it now....what to do with all those bad batteries along with the dangerous chemicals associated with them vs keeping on with improvements in the internal combustion engine that already has some of the lowest...
  12. Which tires should I get? Michelin Pilot Sport or Continental Pro Contact SSR (RF)

    MINI F56 General Discussion
I don’t know about the Continentals but the non runflat Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires are AWESOME! I have them on our Countryman S All4 instead of the stock runflats and they absolutely transformed the car! Great tires! The Yokohama S Drives are great tires as well but it’s apples &...
  13. Rear Seat Cover for Dog

    Interior
I think many of us have been there, and we all remember our 4-legged family member's last ride to the Vet. I do for sure....one of the sadest days of my life.....I miss my Basset Hound "Bailey" girl EVERY DAY! You might try Orvis dot com, as they have a ton of items for Dogs. I recall having...
  14. Screen scratches

    MINI F56 General Discussion
I bet more brand new MINIs are damaged by dealer detailers who are often teenagers with their first job that haven’t a clue what they are doing! Absolutely shameful that stuff like this happens! I know it does because I had some damage to my brand new JCW....could likely have been avoided by...
  15. Mini usa sales are down 16% for january

    Club F56
MINI doesn’t advertise enough! And when they do it’s sometimes dumb like that Super Bowl ad a few years back....just horrid! They need to advertise the car for its heritage and what it offers “and” how great it looks compared to all the generic crap competition out there! They need to get...
  16. Hi folks! Cape Fear here.

    Introductions
Welcome along! The F56 is the 3 door hatch, or the 2 door hardtop as some would say. I’m not certain but I believe the convertible is designated F57. By the way, if you are not familiar with MINIs, the first generation was designated R53 (2002 to 2006), the second generation was designated...
  17. MINI 60 Year edition... old & new video

    MINI F56 General Discussion
I can't wait until we have warm weather so I can proudly wear my new T-Shirt celebrating 60 Years of MINI that I just got from Moss Motors! ;)
  18. Oil change; no sump plug washer

    Engine & Powertrain
I always just tighten by feel....nice & snug. Not too tight not too loose! I’ve never had an issue on any car.
  19. Flat tyre warning low pressure but was actually high?

    MINI F56 General Discussion
I recently had my first run-in with my TPMS. After driving a little bit, the warning light came on. It turned out that one tire was lower than the others but it still had over about 31psi. It had been sitting in the garage for 2 months. All tires were fine. So, I put air in all 4 tires to...
  20. Oil change; no sump plug washer

    Engine & Powertrain
I have done the same thing on my ‘15 JCW...after 21 months I decided to change the oil myself. The engine only had about 600 miles on it but I wanted fresh oil in there going on 2 years from delivery. Everything went well EXCEPT for my fear that I had lost the crush ring on the drain plug! I...
