16" or 17" - Differences

Ok guys!

I think I still have the option to change my wheel size from 16” to 17” as the car won’t have gone into production yet.

Can anyone please tell me what the benefits are or should I stick with 16”?!!!

even with my limited knowledge I know that 17" are bigger than 16" wheels!!

Your TPMS will let you know when one is deflating. Your spine will let you know when they are at correct pressure! (I'm sure the mini is kinder than many BMWs though).
If someone with a space-saver can clarify the following: some space-savers can only fit the rear wheels (sizing issues). A front puncture means swap good rear to bad front and put space-saver on rear. Also some space-savers have a distance limit as well as the 50mph limit. Does the mini space-saver have one?

Manafacturers are pretty appalling about making this info clear - especially considering it might be dark and wet (and you'll be stressed) when you need to know.
