I prefer the 17" track spoke wheels because of the black look of them, and slightly prefer the shape.

However, have just replaced all 4 tyres on my 18" cups. Curbed one the other day too. So am looking at having all 4 refurbed and powder coated in gloss/eggshell or matte black. Personally leaning towards the matte, although I know they'd be harded to keep clean.

Anyone done something similar? Would be interested to know your results.

Found some that look similar to what I'd be aiming for....

Great find, thank you! Got my wheels booked in for refurb and painting on Tuesday. ‘Eggshell’ or matte, or somewhere in between I think.

My wheels are off getting refurbed black satin at the moment, will see how they look, but thought they look pretty decent on that red JCW. I have all the wheels off as a front spring broke at only 25k miles on our 2015 we’ve had from new...

Ah sorry to hear that. Any idea of the cause, run flats mixed with the firmly tuned suspension meeting a big pothole maybe?

When do you get your wheels back John? If it’s before Tuesday I’d be keen to see how they look in satin before mine go in.
