I bought some of the automotive 3M tape to attach my front Euro style plate and it is really on there. I will see if it stands the test of time but so far so good. :)

I hope to get better photos when we have a good weather day for it.

I put a Euro plate on my R53 with 3M tape years ago. It stayed on for years. The thing that got it off was a friends dog! He was tied out while we were helping her move and the dog got the line in behind the corner of the plate and popped it right off. I put it back on and it stayed on until the car was totaled.

I read on amazon the best way to remove it is to do it on a hot day or heat it with a hair dryer then go behind it with dental floss or fishing line and a sawing motion. Sounds like your doggie friend worked his own version of that. :D

I am not a huge fan of how the pedestrian bumper looks, this hides most of it and in a way as much as I don't like it, I am happy it isn't stuck to a painted surface.
