Definitely agree with your point about the shifter I will be installing the cravenspeed short shifter and bush next month. Only warranty issue I could see would be in the area that you have worked on.
Not sure why you would want your driving lights to come on without high beams. So I really don't understand that comment
Agree to an extent with your tacho comment but in fairness I find it reasonably visible and clear. You just have to get used to sighting it rather than the speedo.
Front wheel drives can get a bit squirrelly in the rear under hard braking but typically fairly controllable. You will find that the car could use a thicker sway bar in the rear as it grossly understeers at the limit. That's the next mod after the short throw shifter.
