Anyone else waiting for a car to be made?

Is anyone else in the queue for manufacture? I ordered an F56 JCW on the 18th May and the estimated delivery date has been all over the place.

It’s gone from September to August and now October not the end of the world but it’s a bit frustrating for it to keep moving around.

Edited to add - Car delivered 30th December 2021.

Park lane is a bit different though as they aren’t a franchise they are owned by bmw directly. It’s the only dealership like this in the country and to complicate it even more I’ve ordered through the International and specialist sales Division. I’ll get there eventually, I really don’t want to walk away from it all.

If I do walk away I’ll have a fair few bits to sell that I’ve picked up whilst I’ve been waiting.

I got the call at about 5:30, I’d given up on him to be honest. I said I thought you’d forgotten about me, I can’t forget about you was his response.

My car is now estimated towards the end of December apparently so I should get it early January, still only an estimate so it could change.

I said that will be fine if that happens but any later I’m in trouble, I can’t carry ladders on my bike (I’m a surveyor) and I’m not prepared to bring my classic mini out in January and February so I’ll be without a car. I asked about a courtesy car and that was flat out refused, they don’t supply or have any access to courtesy cars.

Overall it’s a positive update but I’m not holding my breath.

If they service cars they will have courtesy cars ! What a load of Baloney !! Don’t suppose there is much you can do but wait, however you are being very patient !

Hello, I have what may seem a rather daft question....

I ordered my Mini at the end of August and was told that the estimated production week would be 22/Nov with a delivery date around 6/Dec.

I have just been told by Genius that the status code has moved to 1200 - Scheduled for Production. After reading many posts here, should I just be taking that with a pinch of salt? Or should I start to get excited?

Again, apologies for a stupid newbie question!!

Just curious. My future mini was projected for week 45 build, which I think is Nov 7 to 12. It has now moved to in the production queue. It has been there for several days. Does this mean it is actually being built now. Also, the Digital dash still shows in the owners site. Does that mean I am getting it.

I have just popped into the dealers to tweak our orders that were placed in September. They have been very patient with me so far. A heavy frost and our increasingly deteriorating roads prompted me to add heated screens to both Mini’s and dynamic damping for my S. I was told they are expecting the cars to be built in the first week of January but felt that they might arrive before Christmas. No, I didn’t understand either but has something to do with year-end quotas. Ho-hum, we shall see.

So I've been told almost from the day of ordering that my new Countryman was due to be built mid November. Mini genius have been telling me over the last few weeks that it's due to built w/c 8 Nov then the 15th then back to the 8th so all was looking good for mid November. I sent my dealer an email this morning asking for an update (don't get one from him unless I ask) and he informed me that it has now slipped into Dec and is due to be built sometime in week 51. How can this happen from going mid November to mid December in a few day's. I understand it may have been delayed by a few day's maybe or even a week or so, but not a whole month. I would love to know how the factory system plans the build slots!!!
