When I move the automatic's shifter to the left and leave it there, it seems to improve engine responsiveness. Anyone notice that? Yes, it puts the transmission into the (shiftable) Sport mode, but it seems to also get rid of that delay when accelerating from a stop -- among other benefits.

In other words, moving the automatic's shift lever to the left doesn't seem to tighten the steering or firm the suspension if you have DDC, but it does change the shift points, make it shiftable and the engine becomes more responsive -- like Sport responsive..
