Attach front plate

Has anyone attached a license plate to the grill under the black front panel? We don't have a required front plate where I live but I want to order a British style decorative plate as a tribute to my favorite Rock band but I don't want to drill holes. Plus the marked holes are standard US spacing for obvious reasons. Any tips for applying it to that lower bottom grill/grate?

Look on mini mania, or amazon for a plate mount that uses the tow screw on the front of the car.
