Hi guys im new to this forum and i need a bit of help...ive ordered a mini one which i get in a couple of weeks and i want to play music straight off my phone which is a samsung galaxy s5. Is it as straight forward as using my usb lead from my charger into the usb socket?

If you ordered the Enhanced Bluetooth option, you can play the music via Bluetooth.
I use an iPhone so am not sure of the USB options but if all else fails you can use the AUX cable into the phone's headphone socket... problem there is that the car can't control the music tracks etc.

Both Android and Apple phones can play music straight from the USB port using their respective data cables. This is the same for iPods. As already mentioned Bluetooth can also be used but it will drain your battery over time, where plugging it in via USB will also charge your phone.
