Im in the same boat. So disappointing selecting Connected on the dash and all that comes up is phone numbers. Yesterday was my first attempt at coding and I've achieved the basics but failed to get connected up and running. :-(

I *just* started looking into the F56 coding, but be warned I'm a terrible code monkey, so I might not be much help.

Basically, read this document to the letter, don't screw up the install order of operations, and read it again before doing anything. Perhaps ironically, you'll have to start on page 18 of that PDF to set the correct FA values, but I'll have to come back and let you know which ones they are.

Once you get to the point where you can connect to the car, read and activate the FA, then start looking through the absolute plethora of coding, then you can get to the point where you can take a look at specific settings. Only just a few minutes ago I was able to get my F56 to roll its windows up and down with the remote fob, so I'm very much a n00b at this.

First things first: what head unit do you have, the 6.5" or the 8" "XL"?

hi

so what you need to get this done is a FSC code that enables mini connected in your car.
BMW stopped selling fsc codes where the Region check didn't allow this retrofit ( National version Australia L810A=No) but for 1 months ago BMW gave possibility to order almost any fsc again . But mostly they increased prices and almost doubled it ( around €400 for mini connected )

If you are interested i offer to get the FSC code + code and enable it in your car remotely

cheers

Hi Jimmy,

I am in Brisbane and have a F56 Cooper S and would very much like to enable MINI Connected features, are you still able to assist with this please?

I have E-Sys but not a lot (read: zero) experience with it.

Thank you.
