Hi all,

Recently bought a F55 Cooper S auto, its a 2018 and was bought direct through mini as a used and approved. The car just feels a little bit light on power and acceleration from a standing start to 40, especially compared to a 21 reg countryman cooper s that I drove recently. It feels like the gear ratio is out and I only see real power at about 4k revs.

A friend mentioned to me that you can get the auto gear box reset so it forgets how the previous owner drove the car and learns your driving style. Does anyone know if this is the case?

Cheers
Mark

Maybe the traction control system is holding it back a little in the cold wet weather. The 4wd system of the Countryman will put power down a lot better in this weather.

That's a really good point actually about the all4. The countryman engine felt like it has much more torque at low end revs though to me.
