Back seat: I have tried them for few seconds this morning...hard and without something soft!
There is something...missing ...is like to seat on a fence!
Not confortable at all.
My Clubman has not leather but sport seats with fraction 60-40
I will have to catch a large pillow for the people that are going to seat there.

Have you opinion about?

With the exception of possibly the countryman I have found the back seats of minis to be relatively uncomfortable and cramped. After all they still are a tiny automobile. There is very limited leg room.

Eventually, I'll have my spare wheel & tire strapped in the back with my rear seats in the down position! :)

Noooo, I have a Clubman...the space is not a problem...is the seat: under you ass seems to be a bar from one side of the car to the other...just under the bones! :( Just to speak clearly (...to try to speak clearly!)

I noticed that too when I sat in the back seat of the F54 - jumped in the back and that bar hurt my bum! The leather seats seem to be a little better padded than the standard leatherette ones.

Maybe if BMW gets too many complains from Clubby Owners they will do something about like a comfort cushion with the JCW Logo and Rally Stripes on it that you can pick up for say $ 189.99 at the parts counter at your dealer.:D

BTW I never used the back seat in a Mini.:)

When I was growing up in the early seventies the back seat on a mini was only used for one purpose and comfort was not top of the list. It was always discussed what was possible-or feasable in the backseat of a Mini.
I would think a lot easier in the latest larger modern Mini but with arthritic hips and knees probably just as difficult.

Oh well memories!!!

Just like to chip in, that I agree, and this is the SINGLE WORST THING ABOUT MY CLUBMAN! Basically, everything else about the car is brilliant, and if you don't care about sitting in the back, then obviously its no problem.

But it is a bit bizarre to provide a car with such good space for rear passengers and nice big doors too that is so uncomfortable. When someone is sitting down in the back for the first time, they'll probably yelp in pain and jump back up again!

Part of my justification for getting this to replace my old Clubman was to be a better place for rear seat passengers. I keep checking on youtube to see if anyone has posted a video about taking out the rear seat squab, so that I can figure if it's possible to add a bit of foam.
