@QMark funny you should mention my Mini taking one for the team. While at the dealer someone put a fairly large dent in my driver sidedoor, The dealer called me and took care of the damages within a few days. No body filler they were able to have a fine body shop take care of the car before I could see it.

Where do you stand with your repair profiteroles I've been absent for a few days

I'm glad to see you and the other driver are ok. Seems to be a pretty safe car to drive... airbags out, body took all the damage. Not bad considering!

Vehicle was written off with nearly £14k of damage...currently awaiting my second one to be delivered
