Awesome, there's a bright red cooper 2015 in my building actually.. I sort of want to leave them a note on their dash telling them that the MCS friend below them says HI.. haha. How creepy would that be? LOL
Go for it, ThunderSeven!

My wife still talks about a note left on her 2002 Electric Blue MCS Hardtop from a couple months ago: I fuc*ing love your car! (It was written in a cool, maybe gothic style of writing).

I like that. Great !
2 in the family. I'm not mocking the Orange at all . I think Mini ran their course with it and made it the signature color due to market research. Looks like it paid in spades for them. I like to poke a little fun from time to time. ;)
Well, this obviously shows my ignorance and lack of knowledge of the mini history.
Firstly of all the hundreds of minis on the road I see very few VO's and didn't realise it was a 'signature' colour ( that mini have ran their course with it?), is that now a euphemism for 'common'? or 'old hat?
What I meant by mocking, is that it seems to be a common comment passed on the VO, by people on all the mini forums I have been reading. I take no offence I just wondered why and, to use a common vernacular of which I dislike ' why are there so many haters out there?
Did I really write that?!
And by the way, on re-reading thisI don't mean to sound as serious as this post seems to sound.
Matt
Have to agree 2Inthefamily. I don't get the passed its course comment. I've never seen a bmw mini in any colour that comes close to vo but they did do a pastel yellow and a lime at some point.and the rust type metallic. Love that one! There was a very orange prototype mini at the factory. Maybe there's more to come.Ford focus st orange! Lambos and Ferraris also suit yellows/ orange. See where I'm going here .......!

Jeremy, to be honest I was expecting more from "Volcanic" orange. Especially after googling the color and finding it on exotic cars and BMWs around the web.

Having said that, the orange-in-hand is better than the orange-yet-to-be!

Just grabbed these outside, it's completely dry outside and I've not long woken up (ill), so it must've rained ages ago, but the Gtechniq Exo still beads long after..

The car was washed on Sunday and driven since so it's not spotlessly clean.
