Hi everyone, I'd like your thoughts.
I'd like to start my car to always turn on in green mode or sport mode. I believe using the BimmerCode android app this is possible.

Has anyone tried it and does it work?
Are there any pitfalls to look out for?

I have a 67 plate Cooper.

Thanks for the answer, did you just have to pay for a vgate icar 2 and nothing else?

Is it possible to enbale JCW mode (sport mode) in HUD with this app as Carly does ? Thx.

I'd like to know that too. Do you mean with the rev counter showing in the HUD in sport mode? Thanks Phil

The HUD is in the HUD expert section I believe in the front Electronic Module?

Easy fix. The option to display in other modes is in the HUD settings on the car's centre screen.

Until maybe recently the Bluetooth didn't work on android. It is an option now but ask BimmerCode which dongle in case Bluetooth isn't supported. As others have said. You do not want any interruption so I even put my phone on airplane mode with no screensaver.
