I was able to enable the JCW heads up display using BimmerCode and the Vgate adapter. All I can say is that it’s worth buying it if this is the only thing you program.

You have to go in to expert mode in both the HUD and KOMBI ECUs and enable the following:

HUD, set HUD_SPORTANZEIGE_ENABLE, HUD_SPORTANZEIGE_FES_ENABLE, and HUD_SPORTANZEIGE_MS_GASSE_ENABLE to AKTIV.

So it’s six things you need to activate. Once you’re done, go in to your settings for the HUD and you’ll see new options for sports display.

Got my adapter today so I've enabled the JCW tach in the HUD - love it!

I was just having a nose on the MINI site and noticed a pic of the HUD on a JCW, which shows the tach and sort of like bars either side of it. Does anybody know what these are and how to add them? I coded the tach but only get that, not the bars (I know the speed sign is part of the driving assistance pack) - just curious!

I've make a try on visual boost with Nav. It doesn't do anything for me.
You can try voice command, say "automatic zoom" . it replies OK, but nothing change.

Yay. Thanks. Using the voice command enables it . Strange how that’s the only way to enable it, but hey. It’s working and I’m happy. Map now zooms in when approaching a turning.

I was going to enable it on my July 2017 build MCS but the other day I just used the voice command "auto zoom on" and it enabled it, I didn't need to program it

A question though, if anyone can advise - My car is due for MOT shortly, will having "rear drl's" cause any issues? My brake lights still illuminate as normal when the pedal is pressed.

I don't think it'll cause an issue, there are quite a few new cars out there now which have rear DRL's too

Things that did not work for me:
-Mirror tilt on reverse (could someone cast some light how come this feature is not working? The button which allows me to select which mirror will be adjusted is in the left most position)
-Mirror tilt value on reverse Ive changed to normal but since mirror don't tilt, I'm not sure if it working or.

This will only work if you have the folding mirrors, even if you enable it in the coding, I don't think it'll work without the folding mirrors being specced.

As for the coding when you take your car into the dealer, you'll only lose the settings if they do a software update. Mine was in yesterday and all the coding was fine when I picked it up
