I've had my blazing red cooper for about 10 days now and absolutely love it. This will be my fifth mini (2x chilli red, black, Pepper white and blazing red) and I have to say I was disappointed when I found out they were no longer doing chilli red. I pulped for the blazing red with a white roof, which is classed as a semi metallic. I have to say I love the colour and have had a lot of people comment on how nice it is. I also now understand now what semi metallic is because the car looks a solid red in some lights and then in others you can see the metallic. It's a really unusual colour and I can highly recommend it.

Depending on the ambient light the colour can adopt a different hue, but is always a very distinctive and classy colour.

I thought I might have preferred chilli red too, but not any more.


On this particular car, I think blazing red suits it better.

My F56 Cooper is blazing red with black roof. I have had a few favourable comments about it. I also really like it.

My fifth MINI also. Had pure silver, chilli red, astro black and pepper white before this one.

better make sure you protect that red from fading as they're the worst with that

Well mines already been waxed twice and I've only. Had it 2 weeks

Yes, of course .

Given it a coat of Carlack sealant. Will double that up an a couple of coats of Collinite wax soon.

Modern metallic paint shouldn't have that problem that the old solid reds had.

I have ordered a new mini sports in Chilli and have been informed it is now Blazing Red, not a problem but looking at the forum posts the White and black tops look fab. I have opted for a a blazing red top! Have I made a mistake?

Hello guys! I am new to this forum. I have a dilemma! Currently, I own a chili red with white top, and I am currently contemplating on whether to get again another shade of red - blazing red with black top. I was originally opting for a black and black but this blazing red has a great deal on it right now. What do you guys think? Should I wait or what are your opinions on the blazing red color (likes/dislikes-pros/cons)?
