Hi Guys,

Got my Cooper S on Monday, paired galaxy note 4 via bluetooth, everything works fine, streams music etc.

When I come back to the car the phone wont re-connect, display on the car just says connecting but it never does.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I took it to the dealer and they were very helpful but unable to fix it and want to book it in to re-load the software.

I hate leaving cars with dealers as I invariably go to pick the car up only to find a mark of some description on it!

If someone here is tech savvy and can help i'd really appreciate it.

Also what file format do I need for usb music as it doesnt like the apple codec.

Cheers

Can you please specify what type of Visual boost you have? As I have the same problem and trying to narrow it down... It likes the apple codec just fine. If you also try to open the (display) handbook you 'll see that it freezes. Its the triple problem... we 're still trying to figure it out. I had mine at the shop they changed the HU, and still got the problem! to solve the problem temporarily you need to get out of the car, lock it, then take the key out, unlock with the key and hold it in the unlock position for 5 seconds. If you see the mini logo on the display when you go back in, chances are that it will work ok for the next few hours to a couple of days...
