Do your footrests have an alu plate on them?

I'll be interested to know the answer to this. I would expected it to have it on the S and cooper.
Just checked the picture I got from when I built the MINI online and it shows as having it.

Two things... the picture in the configurator isn't the last word. It showed a toggle switch for my car that isn't there.

Picked up my MINI Cooper today with Auto and it has an alu plate on the foot rest, along with the other two pedals. So I would say you should have this as well!
Something that i've just noticed is missing from our car is the red stitching for the auto gear stick. The steering wheel has it but not on the gear stick. Will have to contact the dealer and ask them to order in the correct one.

There are two auto box options, standard and sport auto. You may have selected the JCW steering wheel option, but not the sport auto box. The sport auto also comes with paddle shifters.
I actually don't know if you can even spec the sport auto on a 'non-S', would be interesting to know!

I actually have the MINI Sport pack fitted (JCW Interior/exterior packs) which included the JCW steering wheel, and it says it should come with red stitching on the gear shift as well. Looking at pictures of other people with these packs and they have it. So will raise it with the dealer to look into. When I originally placed the order, the dealer had to add sports suspension as a free add-on as the pack should also have add it but didn't come up on the system.

I been read this some times ago, but nobody, where, Internet could give the answer but until then I can confirm all JCW mc and mcs all should had a alum footrest.
ps:all JCWd should have a badge in carpet, but it doesn't!
all JCWd mc should have the same black bootlid, but it doesn't!
Mini uk also did not response for those 2 isuss!
