Is there any reason why we cannot have a dealer feedback section in the forum as this would give a heads up to members who are interested in purchasing a MINI from good dealers plus it would give fellow members ones to be aware of or avoid.:)

To avoid the legal repercussions why not simply highlight the Good dealers.
I used Broad Oak in Ashford in Kent & they kept me well informed, understood the Product, were at least able to negotiate some discount & although they've been quiet of late I've completed 3000 miles of marvellous driving without incident or need to contact them.
Of course the initial Sales pitch guy has done his bit so no surprise that he's no longer interested in my purchase so we'll wait & see how the Service guys do in due time.

I also use Broad Oak in Ashford and have done so for my last four minis. Nothing but praise - delighted with the pre and post sales support.

I mentioned in the other thread about how impressed I am with my dealer Williams Stockport (and before that Williams Bolton for my 1 series). Excellent service, kept me up to date throughout even without being prompted by me. For the build week - I was given a daily email update fresh in my inbox at lunchtime.

A section for for the good dealers/bad dealers I believe is a great idea as it could mean using the people power on here could mean there are good discounts to be had if the promoted dealers that get rave reviews have there business increased and the BAD ones fall at the wayside deservedly so to.

That being said, BMW and MINI do have a ratings system for their dealers on the main website, which seems to be objective (there are negative comments in there so it's not edited out).

Perhaps a good place to start is by reading those before deciding where to spend your cash

In the US, Arizona, my dealer is MINI Of Tempe outside Phoenix. Best experience I have ever had with any car dealership. I have been a service customer of theirs for two years and have enjoyed outstanding customer support and care. My service guy has saved me a ton of money with my R56 and has always looked out for my best interests.

They gave me a very fair trade for my 2010 Hardtop and a decent price on my F56. They are honest and very customer-oriented. They will go the extra mile for you. I cannot recommend MINI OF Tempe highly enough.
