i am picking up a Cooper S that has already been built with a spec that was not my choice, i am happy with the spec with the exception of the piano black interior trim. i want to change it to chequer
is it possible to change this at dealer level?

In theory anything is possible and your dealer should be able to order the parts and fit them.

It depends if the whole of the door cards etc. need to be changed or just the affected areas as separate parts. So ask your dealer the part and labour cost I think.

There will be a cost with new parts, but you could ask your dealer if they have other customers who would be interested in swapping parts....

Yes, it can be done, but if you are paying for it the price of the parts will soon add up.

Piano Black looks good though, I have had it in 2 cars, one I specced it in. Looks good but dust does show up on it.
