I bought the MINI B46 / B48 (4 cylinder) Stage1 BETA kit from Burger Tuning. I don't have access to a dyno so I could only go by feel. It did seem to have a power gain so I was happy. But, a couple of days later the engine began to cut out intermittantly. I replugged the kit only using the TMAP connector and that worked for one day. Then I got a transmission error message. I contacted Burger Tuning and was told it was not compatible with my 2014 Cooper S. I have a 2014 Cooper S (F56 with B48 motor).

I think you would better get a chip tune. So much more accurate and no faults at all.

Makes no sense.

Plenty of people are running the Burger tune without issue? Check NAM.

Because I look for an external module, and the Burger product seems interesting.

I had this problem with my MCS a few weeks ago although my car is not chipped, remapped etc... It's is a problem with the cars software and there is a patch for it.
