Anyone know what it means if the ring around the centre console pulses red at the top of the ring?

There were no other warning messages or lights that I could see. No "bong" sound, and the vehicle status shows everything is OK from the main menu.

I did leave it in first for a touch longer than I would normally, but I don't think it was that that was upsetting it.

Any ideas?

I;ve seen this once before when the alarm was triggered. I left the window down and leaned in after I'd locked it, triggering the untrasonics I assume. When I unlocked it and got im, I had a red pulse under the hazard lights.

That's so freaky - I've just done a Knight Rider thing too on The Car Speaketh thread - I didn't quote Battlestar Gallactica though

:eek::nerd:
I think we need to check your watch, just in case you're secretly tapping into these cars with voice commands spoken into it........

Quietly

"Kitt, Kitt! Can you hear me"

The pulse

"I can hear you Michael - my system has been breached I've just sent a message to Bonnie and April and they are saying a part has been delayed from our new owners BMW and that their is no time limit on the order being processed"

:eek:

Is this not the 'Heartbeat'? In your settings, you can specify if you want the heartbeat on - when your alarm is set the ring 'throbs' red. So to speak.
I asked my dealer about the heartbeat and he couldn't find if it still "existed" or not.
It will be double handy if you can set it to on as where I park, I can see my car and am not always the best at locking it so like to know at a glance if it is protected or not...

If any of that makes sense, I shall be surprised:eek:

I just noticed this today, only because I've only had my car for about 3 weeks. Does it supposed to "throb" all the time when the car is locked? Because I'll see it for a minute or so and then it stops. I guess that means he's in deep sleep lol?
Yeah, he's dozed off. Try a shot of espresso or a red Bull in the water bottle...
