I see that the MINI website lists this as a no cost option ( code 530 ) .... Have any Cooper buyers specified this or assumed it would be included, also if it's a no cost option, why wouldn't anyway choose it anyway?

Hi @Simworth,

As I understand it, the manual aircon is standard with the car and cannot be unselected but only replaced by the automatic aircon option.

I how that clarifies things.

Now that's just crazy, with the crazy weather we've been getting, just imagine how extreme the summer heat can get. AC is a must.

According to the UK brochure. Manual aircon is std on the cooper, but has to ordered specifically. As soon as you add the pepper or chili pack you get the dual zone.

It's almost standard with most cars, but in developing markets I know this is not the case.
