Is there a way to have the radio turn off when you open the door vs. when you lock the door? I'm not a fan of the 30-45 second wait time for it to shutdown.

Second question is related to the voice control, it doesn't seem the button is doing anything, any pre-configuration actions I need to take?

The radio turns off when you lock the car by default. It cannot be changed except for coding the ECU, which can be done but isn't easily accessible.

If you have the base radio with the orange screen, the voice command button does nothing and cannot be programmed.

press the engine stop button twice - once to stop the engine, once to turn off the ignition including the radio

there's nothing to config on the voice control but do you have this option? i think the steering wheel button is std whether you have the option active or not

Will try the stop button twice and report back.
Regarding the voice control I'm assuming it would be active if you have the navigation and the mini connected
