If it's a crankshaft sensor it shouldn't be a big deal. They don't have to drop the oil pan or anything like that. This is not the same as the crankshaft Bearing recall.

The list of effected cars is..... I guess the best way to put it, is fluid. Started out as early '14 to mid year '15 B46/B48 and has progressed from there. I quit trying to keep up after they replaced my engine. (B46 7/14 build date)
