Hi I've just used my head lights for the first time last night, I turned off the cas and locked up but I noticed that where the head light and fog light switches are was still illuminated. When I turned the car on this morning I noticed again they were illuminated even though the headlight switch was off. Are they illuminated all the time?

Yes, mine is the same. It's so you can find the switch in the dark.

I've noticed that that switch stays illuminated after you close the car and lock it and everything else has switched off... but I've also looked in the car after dark and seen that it's not on.

Maybe time for another experiment...

Maybe they are on only for a short time after you lock the car, then come back on when you unlock it.
