If you only open the boot with the key or comfort access. As soon as you close the boot again the whole car is locked.
Defective split-door lock behavior?
Hi all.
We made an unpleasant discovery today on our 2013 Clubman. After using the remote to open the rear doors, the bag containing the key was inadvertently loaded into the rear cargo area along with a large dog.
But when we went to retrieve it, we couldn't. The rear doors were inexplicably locked. With the temperature in the car rapidly escalating, we had to smash the side widow out.
Anybody else experience this phenomenon?

Yes if your car supports connected services you can unlock the car remotely from the app anywhere in the world. Not sure about a 2013 car, my 2018 doesn't support it as it's a crossover car but our 2021 Clubman does.
There saying if you had connected services you could unlock your car with the app if you haven't locked your phone in the car along with the keys.Thanks for the reply, but what is "would of" supposed to mean?
Also no, I'm not aware of any Mini app to unlock this car.
