I've searched the forum and we only have bits an bobs of information of info regarding fitting wheels over the JCW Brembo brakes. Pictures are also super important too (I'll share as I go along). I'm not talking 'good enough' fit here, the fit needs to be perfect and not poke beyond arches or foul on the arch when running low (I'm on ST XA coilovers).

I have a Cooper SE which I've fitted the JCW Brembo front brakes. I have two sets of wheels. Firstly, my winter wheels are the JCW track spoke Style 501 7x17 et54 with 205/45 Michelin Alpin tyres (these fit no probs as an OEM wheel).

I'd also bought Sparco Asseto Gara in 8x18 et48 - I'd assumed these fit but they don't clear (I tested last night). Even with a 5mm spacer they don't clear and then we're into ever so slight poke which will foul on the arch when low.

Can we build up a thread that people can find in a search please? If there is a thread please link to it.

Questions from me: which OZ aftermarket wheels fit perfectly? 8x18 et45? 7.5x18 better?

And no, it’s not at the right height yet so apologies for the lack of side shots etc. I have newly painted rear calipers to be fitted.

Another resource for wheel fitments (it's not precise enough particularly on the JCW/Brembo clearance).

Thanks dude. No issues fitting them, they don’t really interact with the regeneration after all. I didn’t use the JCW rears as they are smaller than the SE standards. I bought the car as a lightweight fun EV so the brakes will come into their own there.

Funnily enough the Neuspeed wheels where the first wheels I started looking at. Having had the fit troubles with the 8”Sparco am I right in thinking the 7.5x18 is the better option for the JCW With the NM wheel? @dbi what fitment are you NM wheels?

There’s apparently two Cross Spoke (style 506) models. One fits over the JCW brakes and one doesn’t (great, I hear you cry!).

I think the one with the part number 36112349696 (the one in the brochure above) fits and the 36116858705 doesn’t. However, ECS says the 36112349696 doesn’t (https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine...and-tire-set-rdci-black-machined/36112349696/).

Edit: these are the JCW specific wheels:

Part number for JCW is: 36116855102

@Kane90 would be interested to see how much these poke (by my reckoning they will so I wouldn’t do this but we all have our different views on this - this is the fitment Lohen would point you to).
