I'm not sure that the 'scheduled' stage means much - just a dealer generated thing?
I placed my order on 14 June, received the 'order congratulations' stage email at 12:06 on 15 June, and the 'scheduled for production' stage email at 12:11 on 15 June.
The dealer is advising late September for delivery.
i haven’t had any emails like this. Are they from the dealer or mini?

I got another text today but the link didn’t work, so I went to the chat on Mini.co.uk. It looks like I’ve been hit by the delay stick. Expected delivery has moved from 2nd of August to 11th of October :-(
who are you getting the texts from? I’ve received nothing other than a couple of emails from the dealer

March to October is a very long wait. I'm expecting may to October for my 3 door.

Have they said to you why you're waiting for so long?

Thats weird. I ordered my f56 JCW in May. Delivered june, allowed to collect in July. Didn’t have digital dash or HK removed thankfully. Surprised you still haven’t had yours delivered?
I guess your dealer had already got a car on order that they could modify to suit your spec? You did well to get it so quickly.

The oxford factory closed at the end of the 3rd week of July and isn't due to open until early September so that's adding to the time too.

I checked today with the genius thing and I'm still estimated for delivery around 18th October. I should still be getting the digital dash but HK has definitely been removed, I've got an Audison setup to go in so I'm quite happy about the HK.

Where did you get your Audison setup from? And what have you gone for if you don’t mind me asking as I will likely go that route as no HK in mine due in Sept/Oct
I got all the audison stuff from https://www.carelectronicsnottingham.co.uk/

I was just going to get some bits then add to it over time but seeing as it'll need the interior taking out to do it I thought I might as well go all out from the start so I've got:

APBMW S8 2OHM underseat subs
APBMW K4E components for the door and A pillars
APBMW X4ECOAXIAL for the rear
APBX 8 AS Active sub for the boot

AP8.9 bit 8 amp to run everything apart from the sub, that has an amp built in but it gets a signal from the amp.

I've got the audison cables to connect all that together but I've sourced power cables from amazon. I'll also be installing as much sound deadening as I can.

I'll be doing all the install myself to save some money but even so I'm still around the £2k mark.

Mine is through a lease company which is notorious for false delivery updates and has awful reviews on trust pilot but here we are keeping my fingers crossed it’s actually delivered then.
which did you order out of curiosity? And is the factory closed? Didn’t know that one ..
That doesn't sound like fun but once you get it then it shouldn't matter, we all get a bit impatient waiting for delivery though.

I've ordered a 3 door hatch JCW auto back in May.

The factory shut at the end of the 3rd week of July and isn't due to open again until early September. It's normal for it to close for a bit in August but it was extended due to the supply issues.

Sadly there's no tracking but you can ask the mini genius chat for an update provided you have the order number

Well the dealer said it’s because the JCW Countryman and the Cooper S Countryman are made at different factories, and the JCW factory didn’t close for a month!
Who knows what the reasons are as there are so many theories going around.
I just don’t see why Mini don’t try to be a bit more transparent and manage people’s expectations a bit better.
Probably because they don't want people to cancel their order and go elsewhere, easier to keep dangling the carrot of it won't be long rather than say it'll be 6 months.

I got a wooly answer of about 4 weeks from the genius when I asked a while ago.

It's locked when it's confirmed for production as that's when all the specific parts for your car will be ordered.

Do you have a confirmed production week then? Or has that kept slipping too?

My dealership says they’ve received very few cars this month - hopefully they come at the end of the month!
With the factory being shut I'm not suprised. Hopefully now it's open we should see a lot coming through.

It's a love hate thing waiting for a new car. Fantastic that were getting a brand new car but frustrating as we don't know when it will actually arrive.

I just enquired online about my Clubman JCW (ordered 21st July) and it is scheduled for W/C 11th October and delivery around the 25th. No delay at the moment, will check again in a few weeks.
You are patient, I'm asking every week. I checked earlier and I'm still estimated for delivery w/c 18th October. The build is estimated w/c 4th October so I'm hoping it will get confirmed soon.

Morning guys!
Delivery of my SE L1 has slipped to mid October now! I am absolutely raging to say the least! Shocking and disgusting service up to now.
I think we ordered around the same time mid May? So that sounds about right unfortunately.

There's been a lot of delays but I wouldn't necessarily class that as bad service, there are a lot of industries being affected by delays at the moment.

I enquired about a fiesta St before ordering the mini and they said it would be a minimum or 6 months from the point of order before I'd get a car but they couldn't guarantee how long it would take.

I meant bad service from my lease company who constantly lie to try and fob you off. I called them again just now to find out more and they claim that it’s just their system that shows it as mid October. What it actually means is that it can be between the 1st and 15th..

plus I get that there’s delays for everyone out there but the fact that this is the most basic level out of all completely blows my mind
Sadly that's how lease companies seem to operate. It's their car and you're only renting it off them is how they see it. They don't seem to be interested in the excitement of a new car.

My current car is on a lease as it was a bargain and already on the forecourt of the garage so I didn't have to wait for it and there was little involvement from the lease company itself.

The mini has been ordered through BMW'S international and specialist sales department and they don't seem very bothered about it all. I've only spoken to the salesman once and that was right at the start, everything else has been via email.

Since ordering I've had very little interaction with them, I got a couple of emails about HK being removed from my order and then a couple when delivery was updated to an expected delivery of mid August. That fell through shortly after at the beginning of July and changed to October. The last email basically said it's not likely to be delivered until October so you won't hear anything from me until then.

Luckily I've been able to get my order number so I've been able to get updates from the genius and they have been great. It's still looking like the middle of October though so exactly what the guy at BMW said.

Fingers crossed its down to the last 5 weeks now. It's only been 16 weeks so far 🤣

Have you asked the MINI Genius team? (On the MINI website, quite your order number)

My query previously confirmed Nov 8th, now can’t confirm. I’m personally fine with this as I’m in no hurry - as long as they deliver HK and my black trim/adaptive cruise options on my L3 SE.
No order numbers for lease customers, they don't give that information out.

HK is confirmed for the L3 according to the genius I spoke to recently so you should be OK there.

This will all be forgotten once the car arrives. It's not long until October.

If my car had arrived earlier it would have saved me buying a new tyre last week (£185) and a service next week (£450) so I feel the frustration.
