Hi anyone know the difference between a 2014 and 2015 build, seen somewhere someone said there was to be a 2014 build and then a 2015 build both in 2014. So anyone know why they call it a 2015 build if it's built in 2014.

Red becomes a standard colour in July for Cooper and some have said their may be a new auto box. Mini should sort out the dead spot in the Cooper auto when you first start off. The convertable may be out as well.

For North America, we now have the possibility to add the Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Warning and Avoidance System and Speed Limit Sign Recognition to the car, which we couldn't to on the 2014 model. I've switched my order from the 2014 to the 2015 for this reason (I'll get it one month later).

As cgingras says there are some changes in the US market, but I'm not sure that it will translate to much in the UK - just availability of options like the JCW options.

I don't think the new automatic will become available yet because you wouldn't heavily revise the Aisin unit for just a couple of months of production.

Is this confirmed? Haven't seen it online elsewhere except for only in Canada.

I can't say for the US. I thought the options were the same in the US and Canada. That would make sense.

not to forget the new colours coming in the next months:
- Electric Blue (you know this fancy blue from F55 presentations)
- Lapis Luxury blue
- Rebel Green (exclusively JCW)

but that all does not answer your question. To my mind, there is nothing like a 2015 build in 2014.

Lapis Luxury is a dark blue, not so much different from Deep Blue. I guess it will be not really cheap.
Lapis luxury blue sounds interesting...
I'm assuming this is going to be as close to the BMW blue that they have.

Which happens to be absolutely gorgeous.
Im going to miss my Montreal Blue e36 :crying:

I had an E36 compact many years ago in Montreal blue, loved it

Even after 20 years, the color still got to me.

I love the true blue because it's so close to it! To me the blue is so close to that sought after blue on the old BMWs.
