@Unkle Paulie I hope you are enjoying your REMUS system and thank you for the support. The gents here on the forum are correct. This is typical when the valves are run partially/fully open. If you look at the location of the valve you can see when open most of the exhaust will mostly flow through the open pipe which would lead to the slight discoloration of the tip. When closed the exhaust is steered to the silencer.
There is no real way around this unfortunately. One solution would be to rotate the tips so they both receive the same wear and will look the same. Let me know should you have any additional questions.
