Hi There

I wonder if you can help.

I have recently posted this up on the forum and believe the answer is related to the valve however thought I would seek your advice.

I have one pipe that is black and the other that is nice and clean (see photo attached).

I tend to run the exhaust fully open and switch between Mid and Sports mode.

I cleaned the pipes last week and within 3 days this has happened.

Since this time I note the other tile pipe has stayed nice and clean.

Is this normal?

Thanks.

I have the stock exhaust on my MCS and both pipes have about equal blackening. If you are spending the majority of your time with the exhaust uncorked then the open side will get more blackening since you are bypassing the muffler and the left tip isn't seeing much, if anything, pass through it.
I assumed it came through both pipes not just one?
