I wonder if you can help.

I have recently posted this up on the forum and believe the answer is related to the valve however thought I would seek your advice.

I have one pipe that is black and the other that is nice and clean (see photo attached).

I tend to run the exhaust fully open and switch between Mid and Sports mode.

I cleaned the pipes last week and within 3 days this has happened.

Since this time I note the other tile pipe has stayed nice and clean.

Is this normal?

I assumed it came through both pipes not just one?

Surely it would take the path of least resistance? So if the flap is closed it will go through the silencer and if the flap is open then the bulk of the gasses will go straight through the open pipe.
