Every time I turn off my 2015 Mini Cooper S the hatch locks. I can't stand that when I park in my garage and go the hatch to get my groceries out, the hatch is locked. Is it possible to make it so that the hatch only locks when I press the button on the key fob? I have never owned a car that locks everything except the drivers door every time the car is turned off.
If the doors are unlocked, the hatch is unlocked. Either hit the unlock button on the door handle on your way out, or turn off the "Lock doors while driving" option in settings.
or just press the unlock button on the drivers door as you get out.
Btw, My wife has set the security to unlock only the drivers door (to reduce the risk of car-jack/hand-bag grab) and I suspect this is what you are experiencing. There's a setting for that somewhere.
Is there anyone who can help me to unlock the mini f 56 driver door, it's not working well from past few days. Share your thoughts so that i can save bucks from going to a locksmith and dealer.
