Those clips if you look from underneath have a gap where you can prise a screwdriver and flick the caps off. Then the visor just pulls out. Makes removal much easier.

I used long nosed pliers.
It took all of 5 minutes.
The part number below is for a light grey visor.

Thanks for the part numbers and installation instruction posts..fitted one on my 2017 JCW.
Since owning this car, have struggled a bit with sun glare from the side as the glass is high so this should help out.

I was annoyed-left mine in the JCW F54 for the new owner-instead of transferring to our new SE-then felt better as I realised we'd had anthracite headlining and our SE is beige!

I'm not sure you would have been able to get it out anyway! I tried to remove mine to put into my new one but it wouldn't budge!

Thanks for all the guidance. The most helpful word I saw was "Bravery". I now have a side visor in our new Mini Electric ))

This is an awesome option (I had it on my 15 F56 and now on my 22 F60) but I wish it would come down a little lower. It doesn't block much sun!
