Well after a bit of a traumatic start Emmett is here, one day late and heartfelt thanks to the amazing customer service team and mechanics at Soper Mini! Ive taken a photo of the lovely puddle light that shines from the wing mirror-sorry it is half on and half off gravel-distorts it a bit, then there are pics of the inside of the lounge leather-love the little union j buttons and stitching on the rear of the head rests! The details of this car are great-currently struggling to get it to read my usb stick-should the files be in or out of folders and how long should it take gave up with 10gb data on a 32gb stick after 6 mins!?

Thank you all; yes should fit in the garage; just ! (yet to try it though!) and yes Brandon, we got bonnet stripes thrown in 'to seal the deal' so to speak but the stripe man is on his hols so they're being fitted the week after next we think! More pictures to follow when it's done and also when the weather is better and in a more scenic environment! Just been into the manual to work out how to open the rear doors contactlessly-i thought it was a wave of the foot but it's more a kick under the bumper!

My car is going in on the 7th for the brakes and I hope I get that Pepper White Clubbie again cause I loved it, the stripes will set it off nicely I think!

Have you got any mods planned? I've seen a few F56 that have had the chrome wrapped or painted Pepper White (i.e. light surrounds, etc) wondered if you had any plans.

Did you get a good trade in price for your F56?

Well you can definitely see the barn door in the mirror;early days but i have to say we like it;if you drive a roadster any rear view is a good rear view! Contactless opening seems very hit or miss though.

Brandon, other than the standard stripes yet to be fitted i don't think we'll modify it; swmbo fell in love in the showroom with its looks as is; she had wanted the jcw version but really liked how this one looked (inc the sun protection glass which does suit it!).

Hi Jeremy,
Congratulations on the new Clubbie, looks terrific.
I too love the sun protection glass on my F54, looks superb side view.

Regarding recognition of the USB, I had the same issue then solved it via Google and forums.
You MUST format the USB using FAT 32, copy your music then load onto hard drive.
It will then recognise and give you the option to transfer.

Enjoy.

Lovely lovely new motor, definitely one of these or the new Countryman for my wife's next one.

Re: USB issues, my tech support team at work have a few acronyms for these issues..... RTFM - Read The Fcuking Manual (sure you did :D) and its a TOTOR issue - Turn Off Turn On Repeat...... as in "I told the engineer to just RTFM to start with but he ended up having to TOTOR it a few times. Started working after that.". One of my guys even has the nickname 'Reboot'.

Technology. Dont you just love it!

That's the only reason I want to get into it, unsaved photos etc! :crying:

Otherwise I would have as brought a new one ;)

Having owned a R55 JCW and red top F54 is appealing although had fun in a SD recently so Jeremy will love it :)

Lovely car, I don't mind admitting I'm more than a little envious

Isn't the Lounge Leather lovely and comfy Jeremy, we love ours as it makes the car feel more luxurious!
