There's bound to be aftermarket exhausts, but I doubt there will be any official JCW kits. My advice would be to get an S - they are awesome!

Aha, I've gone from an mcs (2010) to a Cooper and at the mo have NO regrets-it sounds amazing with the standard exhaust t due to the 3 cylinder growl -very Porsche like I have to say and only a second slower than the s, with £20 year road tax and fully comp insurance at £150-what's not to like. Not sure re consumption yet-first fill with a lot of sitting around was 43, but it's showing 48pg at the mo with shortish runs! I just used what I saved on upping the spec of my car so have all the toys I wanted!

I get 36MPG after around a month. I drive mainly short distances in Green Mode. That's US gallons.

I had a Ford Escort XR3, around 20 years ago in Ireland, I got 44MPG then, all those years ago.

Yes I've had cars do better. Much lighter in those days!

I drive it like I stole it and have returned 46mpg...green mode on a motorway run gave me 50mpg on Wednesday. Pretty blumin good for a 190 bhp hot hatch.

That XR3 didn't get to 60 in 6.5 whilst chucking out enough torque to out drag an e46 M3 😃

There has been information put out in Motoring File that there has been development work on an exhaust and tuning for the 2014 - later MCS and it would be available from the dealer. Patience and it will come. There are should clips out on the exhaust already. Bluetooth enabled as it has two modes that are switch selectable.

I just installed my Quicksilver system. Sounds superb, especially with the popping in Sport mode. I will upload a GoPro video
