Hi,
Looking to change/swop my exterior mirror caps on my F56 Cooper S.
Currently standard black but like the look of the chequered variety.

How easy are they to remove?
Do I need any special tool?

Mini dealers use a plastic thin ruler/cake slice type thingy put into the cap top bit, and prize and twist-seemed v quick and easy but mad e a horrid noise on my wife's cooper s roadster-assume f56 will be the same-took her two mins and to put the new ones on a bang with the heel of the hand! Simples!!!!

Try a search for this on Google. Or trawl through the North American motoring forum.

I did it more than once on my R56, was easy enough.
