Extra You Would Like To See in F56 JCW Options List

Ok things you would like to see available or more choice to improve a great car.

For me wheels that show off the brakes better like cup spokes but cut out

For me splitters as standard and rear ones in same style as front more chunky

Tuning kit approved by mini with bespoke exhaust blue tooth

That's me being picky but hey always room for improvement also would mechanical diff be good option?

Hi,
I would like to have the following options:
1. More choice of colours, especially a pure white solid colour on the F56.
2. More alloy wheel options.
3. Rear side windows which open.
4. Colour coded wheel arch and side sills.
5, Choice of American spec reflectors/lights on wheel arches.
6. Not an option specifically, but the choice to dictate that my MINI must be built in Oxford.

Sute I could think of more with time!

Steve - I thought all UK models built in Oxford. Is this not the case?
Heated steering wheel for the winter and a proper jack kit for plugging the run flats

Mine is a UK model however it was built in Netherlands...
Hi,
My understanding is that some F55 and F56 cars are made in the Netherlands.

Not sure how where you car is built is determined but I would hope that a UK buyer would get and Oxford built MINI.

Can anyone shed any light on this .............

First part of the Vin as far as im led to believe tells it area of build their is a site to check somewhere there is a link on here, yes I believe some Dutch amongst us >:D
More wheel & tire options stock from the factory! The 18" Cup Spoke wheels are awesome, but they are only 7 inches wide (yet the configurator still says they are 7.5" wide...go figure!). The tires are too small for this larger body!..although I do like the look overall generally. This F56 JCW just needs more rubber on the road and a slightly wider stance to look as aggressive as it drives.

Great topic!

I'd love to see the JCW Pro coilovers be a factory option. It could be called Sports Suspension Plus just like the R53's. I'd also like to see the JCW Pro front and rear bumper trims and "diffuser" standard or at least an option.

I'm not sure I'd want to see a mechanical LSD, as they inherently induce torque steer. On top of that, the chassis engineers did a great job with mechanical grip so the car isn't begging for an LSD like the previous gen MINI's, despite having more torque. Perhaps on the GP3 I would find that a desirable option, where such compromises are acceptable for the model intent.

Lastly, I wish that Deep Blue was a color option on the JCW. I would've ordered that color.

Yes colour we struggled with on F56 if I'm honest , and like the cup wheels but just like open wheel far better as looks great with this huge front brakes. Yes maybe as grip better than R56 and torque steer better may not benefit as much as the R56 with mechanical Diff , maybe it just sounds good>:D
With it being the premier model, more inside should be standard in my opinion (full sat nav for instance), but a couple of options I would like see:

All black gloss wheels on the upgraded JCW (I have Diamond Cut wheels)
Any of the JCW Pro options should be available from the factory (it is a JCW after all!!)
One or two colours that are JCW only (like the red roof)
A lowering kit. Everybody knows it needs it, everybody wants to do it, so make it an option.

Yes agree Jelster more options for JCW at factory level and as you say lowered factory option good call, and JCW only colours have to agree with that as well

The plant in The Netherlands only produces the F56. In the VIN you can see from which plant your car is.

In the last digits it's visible:
3xxxxxx - The Netherlands
2xxxxxx - Oxford
Txxxxxx - Oxford

There are some websites which show you this information. Google is your friend on this one.

The Dutch plant produces the MINI One, Cooper and Cooper S. Oxford also has the JCW.
