Well I've had my SD now for a couple of months and don't think it's that economical tbh admittedly I have not done a manual calculation just relying on the on board computer even so I still think it's poor .:(

Cars mileage is just over 2k,so it's truly run in.

I travel about 40 to 50 miles daily and sad to say most of the time is in green mode, but I'm still only getting between 47 to 49 miles to the gallon.

Our second car is a Skoda CitGo petrol with only 75bhp and that will do anything between 65 to 75 miles to the gallon .

Any thoughts....

Hi

Ours is off to the dealer in a couple of weeks to look at this.

I have a 330d Xdrive Touring and I get the same fuel consumption (around 41mpg) doing the same journey and route as our F55 Cooper SD.

There is definitely not something right. The automatic transmission is very unresponsive sometimes, with a real delay if you put your foot down.

I've got a load of other things for them to look at also - rattles/condensation in headlights. The TPMS came on last night also with a warning that the nearside rear had lost pressure, but it was at the set pressure and the same on both sides.

Hi,
Driving my F55 SD automatic transmission for 2 weeks, so far I have no complaint about the consumption. Getting around 60 mpg, for my daily trip of 100 miles. This is comparable with my former car, BMW F30 320D ede. I'm not driving in green mode, so better figures should be possible for your car.
