Hi everyone,

I was thinking about lowering my cooper s with H&R springs but would like too know if someone actually lowered the car with these springs or simular ones and i wanted some feedback about them. Let me know the drop would be 30 mm

Thanks in advance.

I had the HR Springs on my 2012 Abarth excellent Quality on the Springs. As far as the Ride Quality will be on the Mini I do not know on my Abarth it was very bouncy but the Wheel Base is also shorter. I will talk to Euro Tech here in Tempe next Week to find out what they would recommend for the new F 56. I keep you posted.

Honestly if you have the money go for a good quality set of coilovers. You'll be much happier if you spend the money on the entire suspension component.

I have H&R Sport Springs and Bilstein Sport Shocks on my 1972 BMW 2002tii and it rides "rough", but I smile wide anyway, especially on smooth pavement around tight curves!

If I had it to do over again, I'd go with the heavy duty Bilsteins and the same H&R Sport Springs for a more comforting ride quality. It's the total package that makes the difference not just the springs. Coilovers (as said above) are probably the best (but most expensive) way to get the ride full package, and it's adjustable.

So after a while i think i'm still going for springs just wondering wich is best for the F56 eibach or H&R

I guess since its been a while a lot of people have them now. If you wouldn't bother sharing your experience with us.

Thanks.

I have eibach springs on mine (fitted around 14 months ago). Very happy with them. I think I posted at the time that they actually improved the feel of my sport suspension on my MCS. I can't comment on the H&R, but I did a lot of research and am happy with my springs. They have put up with some pretty nasty potholes in New York and so far (touch wood) I've never had any issues.
