Does anyone know if you can use the Go Pro app on mini connected to use Hero 4 through the VBR only system with No Enhanced BT or XL Media?
And is it possible play video on VBR? or can it be coded to work.
Seen stuff saying with mini connected you could get the app for Go Pro but it was with BT or need cable or something. TIA

Yes, you can use a GoPro Hero 3+ or higher with MINI Connected. You have to pair the GoPro with your iPhone first and you need to have both the GoPro and MINI Connected apps set up first. The iPhone and the GoPro need to have an active BT connection and the iPhone needs to be wired into the MINI.

Once connected, you can turn the camera on/off from MINI Connected, start/stop recording, change BASIC camera modes (video/photo/burst, but not resolutions, or anything more than that), and you will see a live feed from the camera, which in my experience is kind of choppy and low res, but gets the job done.

Thanks very helpful when you sat BT phone connection do you mean your cellular or 3G connection and when you say wired , just lightning cable into the usb , thanks Derek
The way your iPhone connects to your GoPro is through a wifi+bluetooth connection. Your GoPro manual will have more info about this.

A lightning cable connection via the MINI's USB port is required for MINI Connected.
