I forgot to mention this car is fantastic for putting the power down with little to no torque steer unlike the R56 Cooper S torque steer and tyres scrambling for a bit of grip, puts the power down very well and that for some may not be to their liking but if its faster and less tyres then win win for me


I totally agree! But, only based on what my MA told me while he was driving during my test drive session. He has had more time behind the wheel than me for a comparison, especially with the paddle shift 6-speed automatic. I'm a manual trans guy!


All I know is, if you go on a spirited drive with a good driver in a JCW as a passenger, you better take motion sickness pills beforehand!!!...and grab hold of the hand grip above the passenger window! :)


The F56 JCW is an absolute ROCKET!!! I'm sure that 236 ft-lb of torque has something to do with it too!


It's simply awesome!!!

Oh, and it sounds great too!! No need to fool around with aftermarket gimmicks. Stock sound has plenty of grunt without being annoying!

I still love my Getrag 6-Speed Manual JCW...sorry, I'm not lovin the auto...I prefer having all "3" pedals! :D
