Pad should be max 14mm/15mm depending on brand/kind. Never seen bigger!
Just because you have the car "up"...the panel for the oil should be on the left seeing the car from the front...isn't it? Is easy to recognize the exact place? If I remember should be present a sign...a big "+"...am I wrong?
